Mind Performance Golf
How Much of this Game is Really in Your Mind?
When people think about getting better in golf, they usually think about going to the driving range and hitting buckets and buckets of balls. While physical practice can certainly help, there is another kind of practice that is equally as important: mental practice. If you hit your driver great on the range, but are nervous about hitting your first drive in front a group of people, your mental game is impacting your physical game. Imagine how well you would play if you overcame that nervousness. You use your mind with every shot. You might as well have it working to your advantage.
Would You Benefit From This Course?
You are most likely to benefit from this course if you believe that you could be playing better golf. You have an open mind and are interested in learning things that can be applied immediately to improve your performance on the golf course. You might get nervous or anxious in some situations, and while you know that doesn’t help your game, you’re not really sure how to make it not bother you. Most of all, you enjoy this game. And, you just might enjoy it even more if you knocked a stroke or two off each round.

MC doesn't know what a mulligan is but she does know how to develop the mental muscle that keeps you in the game until the very last hole. That's because the mental muscle that contracts on the course is the same as the one you exercise off the course! As an Associate of The Delfi Group, MC offers leadership and training to assist employers, managers and organization directors across Canada in their desire to improve operations within and beyond their walls. Recently graduated from Victoria's Royal Road University, MC holds a Graduate Certificate in Executive Coaching, and is an Associate Certified Coach with the International Coach Federation. She is also a Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming and believes that the basic principles of this art and science form the fundamental mechanics of human behaviour. With these power tools in her kit, MC will nudge and support you along your path to better golf performance and fun!
